At the age of 70, I’ve decided that it’s high time I ride across the country, something I’ve wanted to do for a long time (what’s that quote about life getting in the way of your plans?). My partner Nancy and I are setting off on a six-month odyssey to travel across the United States and back: I on my trusty Seven Evergreen and she in a teardrop camper with our two dogs.
